I had the privilege to visit Type One (Spoon Sports service facility) for their Open House event that took place around 2020 Tokyo Auto Salon.
They had both floors and the storage area section full of their company cars and racecars. The facility itself in near spotless, for a shop that is consistently working on customer and there own vehicles it is really amazing how clean it is.
The main level had a few of their race cars and an EG6 that was still in the process of being built.
Right off your hit with their NSX, S2000, EK9 and EG6 racecar. What a way to start things off.
I've always loved the Spoon Sports cars, there was something about the simple clean lines and straight forward approach taken to tune their Honda's.
Spoon Sports has re-released their very popular SW388 in new larger sizes to better fit the most current Honda's out on the market now. It was great to be able to visit during Spoon Sports Open House where they provided access to their racecars, engine building room, really everywhere. It was a ton of fun to hangout, meet and make friends with other like minded Honda's people.
Everything Else. Enjoy!!
